On Friday the 23rd and Saturday the 24th of August 2013, the oldschool BMX planet will meet at Cavaillon (south of France) for an unprecedent event that will be held during the 19th «Trophée des Melons»! Race, freestyle, OS bike show and happiness will be part of this “NOT TO BE MISSED” event signed Christophe Vico!
At this day, 180 oldschool riders are already pre-registered (via Facebook) for this crazy week-end, with the exceptional presence of three American legends:

The biggest names of the french 80/90 BMX scene will be back on track and/or ramps on their «vintage» bmx!
Let see: Xavier Redois, Claude Vuillemot, Valérie Huber, Edouard Cordier, Christophe Boul, José Delgado, Jean Somsois, Fabrice Vettoretti, Stéphane Beaumont, David Kastler, Franck Roman, Mickaël Clerté, Pierre-Henri Sauze, Jérôme Chiotti, Fred Cassan, Olivier Imbert, Armand Bonis, Christophe Vico… and also Mr Gerrit Does, some Swiss friends, and the list will certainly get bigger…
A screening of the legendary movie «Rad» (1986), organized by oldschoolbmxfrance in association with themovierad.com, followed by a conference with Mike Miranda and Eddie Fiola (stunt coordinators of the movie) will be held on Friday evening. Prepare your questions!
On Saturday, in addition to the race, Gérard Garcia and his «Starlight Bicycles Stunt Show» will play with the ramps, accompanied by some big names as Eddie Fiola, Jean Somsois, José Delgado and their freestyler friends…
An oldschool exhibition village will show the audience more than a hundred BMX, all nicer and rarer from another… And some other surprises…
That means that if there is an event “NOT TO BE MISSED” this 2013, this is this «Trophée des Melons» at Cavaillon!!! YOU’VE BEEN WARNED !
